Inventors typically submit their new product or service innovation to an exhibition or competition as a platform for recognition and public display. For exhibition organisers, managing an exhibition is primarily time-consuming due to jury expertise-product category mapping, many products to be judged in a limited time, and running on manual or semi-manual platforms. As a solution, a smart judging management system is being developed to eliminate this unsystematic process. This system can systematically manage the product registration and judging process, beginning with jury registration, mapping the product to jury expertise, facilitating product judging with a smart approach, and automatically generating a list of award recipients for the exhibition organiser. This system's applicability has been demonstrated by its successful implementation at several exhibitions, including IRIA2021, IRIA2022, SIGG2021, ICPROMPT2022, and the upcoming SIGG2022 in November 2022. It has proven a time-saving judging management system with a user-friendly judging interface, auto-calculated score, auto-generated result, e-certificate, and letter function. This system has high commercialisation potency. This is because the massive market has numerous virtual and physical exhibitions each year. If 374 Malaysian Higher Education Institutions organise two exhibitions each year and the target market is 20%, 150 potential organisers will use the Smart Judging Management system.
